| Henrik
Larsson is a deadly striker whose goalscoring
prowess for club and country has become legendary, Henrik
Larsson is strong on the ball, good in the air and possesses
a sharp footballing brain, generally one of the most devastating
all-round forwards in football.
Henrik Larsson joined Celtic from Feyenoord
in July 1997 for £650,000, as unknown but left Celtic
25th May 2004 as a legend, messiah, the king of kings, the
magnificent 7, world class, the best foreigner to grace Scotland
and arguably the best player ever to have played for Celtic.
On the 30th June 2004, Henrik Larsson joined
Barcelona on a free transfer. Celtic tried their best to get
him to extend his contract but he had made his mind up, he
wanted to leave on a high, having won everything he could
in the Scottish game. We wish him all the best and hope he
graces Spanish football the way he graced Scottish football.
Henrik Larsson spent 7 magnificent years
at Celtic; in 315 games he scored 242 goals with left foot,
right foot and head. He has been top scorer in Scotland 5
times.
During this time at Celtic Henrik Larsson
won the League championships four times, the League cup three
times and Scottish cup two times. He also helped Celtic reach
the final of the UEFA cup in his penultimate season and quarters
in his last season.

the months awards and has been voted the scottish player of
the year twice.

the greatest Swedish football player of the last 50 years.

greatest black footballer to have played in the British league
by a poll conduced by the BBC Four.
We are really sad to see our King Henrik
gone. There will never be a king like him, we wish him all
the best for the future and hope to see him in paradise soon.
Henrik Larsson truly is “The
King of Kings”
